Match Report Press Report

Nuffield Health 1 Lost to Totton 3.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 10 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Stuart Purdy winning through.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 83 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Daniel Swanson.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Tim Kirk, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Martin Buchan, who over-turned a 988 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
