Match Report Press Report

Avenue 2 Lost to Totton 3.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 40 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Alexis Smith , did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 93 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, ADAM COCKERILL.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Martin Buchan, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Martin Buchan, who over-turned a 927 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
